I was disappointed that Jon didn't come back for more; he did such a great job in his audition. Though he didn't get off, he made up for it. He was shy at first and you can just see him come alive as he gets into the shoot. I had one model (Clay) who thought he must be ugly because his parents never took pictures of him. Again and again, I've encountered men whose self-image is marred by their parent's rigid adherence to a gender norm. They will tell their horse-faced daughters how beautiful they are while ignoring their handsome son! But Jon had his money in the sun and I would love to know why he didn't come back because he sure was into it. In fact a lot went into him...
