Gemini Men has undergone a site redesign that seems to involve a slight image makeover running slightly deeper than the surface appearance. That’s because its content remains focused on supposedly straight men stripping down for the camera, but besides changing the focus from pictures to videos, the action captured has begun to involve more hardcore. Besides, solo hetero dudes playing with dildos, there are also actual scenes of sucking and fucking to boot.

You can still access the old site for GeminiMen and that’s where you’ll find still pics, not just vid caps. There are over 1,000 galleries of regular-res, or slightly smaller photos. There are 174 hot studs featured and each has four, eight or more sets of pics, so my total calculation is safely conservative. They pose in studio, do some fetish shoots and jack off with sex toys. There are occasional hardcore scenes included. Overall, most importantly, the guys on the site are hot, not just for being straight looking and masculine, but just being handsome hunks and well-built jocks.

The 136 videos can be downloaded in good-looking Windows Media format from the new members’ area. Here, mostly vid caps replace still pics though, but some of the fellows have still sets with their videos instead. Either way, you can preview the horny action. Speaking of which, I remind you again, the footage gets hardcore more often than the still images do, at least in the sense of mutual masturbation, some butt banging and dick sucking. Gemini Men is a site featuring all sorts of regular guys. You won’t see pornstars or professional models here. What you will see are guys, mostly straight, from all walks of life with a focus on blue collar. Construction workers, fratboys, mature men and all sorts of amateurs get naked on camera, jack off and shove a variety of sex toys and objects into their ass for the first time.

When you enter the member area of Gemini Men, you are given the choice to enter the new member area - that’s the one with the videos - or the old member area. There are models in the old member area that aren’t in the new one, but let’s start out in the new member area ’cause there’s a lot to see there.

There are 118 videos here, each with photos and a description from the photographer. Some of the things that stand out are that most of the Gemini Men models have pubic hair, which is always nice. You’ll find guys with tats and without, guys with smooth bodies, hairy bodies, big dicks and small dicks. There’s a lot of ass play here, but some of the auditions don’t include dildos. One thing I didn’t see was ethnic men - for the most part, expect to see white guys here.

Each shoot has its own page that includes both high and low full video links, a description of the shoot, the date it was added to the site plus high rez pics from the shoot. The high quality videos are shown at 640×480 and stream at around 1.5 Mbps. These are good qualtiy vids and look pretty good even at full screen. The lower quality vids stream at around 221k and are shown at 320×240. These are amateur quality and are good for people on slower broadband or even patient dialup users. The movies can be streamed or downloaded and do not use DRM, so whatever you download is yours to keep.

The video camera work at Gemini Men is unique. The cameraman zooms in when he sees something he likes or wants to show us and zooms out when he’s done. These zooms are abrupt and fast, and have a rather documentary feel to them. Surprisingly enough, this style works for the site and gives it a flavor that stands out from other sites.

Most of the videos have the camera and video cam shooting the guys simultaneously, and one man does the directing. He’s a little abrupt, telling the guys how to move and how to pose and what to do. If he seems to be objectifying the models a little, that can be sexy, as watching these first timers do exactly what they’re told has a hint of submission to it.

Now let’s talk about the pics. Each video page includes a gallery of high quality stills. These are not vidcaps, which is appreciated. These are medium sized digital stills shown at around 400×600. Whoever shoots the pics isn’t a pro photographer, but it’s obvious he’s into amateur guys and knows exactly what members would like to see.

Gemini Men specializes in first time amateur guys auditioning for the camera and in guys taking toys anally for the first time. And they deliver plenty of both! We don’t hear much from the models but we do hear the camera guy telling them what to do. There are also some 2-guy shoots for those who prefer some sucking and fucking.

The old site has 163 pic sets but no videos. There’s lots of guys in there who aren’t in the new site, so it’s definitely worth checking out. The galleries are a little more primitive in appearance, and sometimes break the shoots into 2 parts, but I think leaving the old site up was a great idea as it offers members more - and instead of bonus content, the “more” this site offers is more exclusive amateur guys involved in assplay and jacking off.

Gemini Men comes through with a very nice collection of amateur guys playing for the camera. The videos are good quality and you can save the ones you like and the pics are also good stuff. There is plenty of solo including guys using dildos, and there are also some 2-guy shoots for those into hardcore action.
